FAAST

Wellspring is partnering once again with FAAST (Faith Alliance Against Sexual Trafficking). Last year, we funded a curriculum development, "Hands that Heal" to train caregivers of trafficking survivors in their very specialized areas of need. The material has been so well-received that it is now being translated into several languages to be used in trafficking "hot spots" all over the world. Wellspring is funding two of these translation efforts. One translation will be into Mandarin Chinese, the other translation into Khmer. Both of these will be used in the Yunnan Province of China, one of the most vulnerable areas in China for trafficking and exploitation. The anticipated project completion date is November 2008.
