The mission of Wellspring is to RESCUE, REHABILITATE, RESTORE, and assist with RE-ENTRY. While we seek to partner with existing organizations in this effort, many times we have the privilege of working one-on-one with an individual that has come in contact with the ministry through one of our partner organizations or as a referral. Wellspring is currently enjoying this kind of support-based relationship with 11 individuals. Their needs are as varied as the women themselves; from basic living needs, to educational scholarships, to significant medical assistance. Psalms 118:5 says, “I cried out to You in my anguish and You answered me by setting me free.” For these benevolence recipients, we are God’s hand of refuge and a light on the path to freedom.
The Need
As we have opportunity to be intimately involved in the lives of these and other women and children, we recognize that the need for funding is rising as well. These women have the strength and confidence to persevere in the most difficult of circumstances. Their hope and determination is an inspiration as they rise above personal challenges to find a better way for themselves and their children. The Project
Scheduled reports, budget submission and timely re-application for funds as well as annual visits ensure that funds are directed where they are most needed. The same due diligence applied to each of our larger projects is in place for every benevolence recipient as well.
