Just Food seeks to serve women and children at risk or involved in the sex trafficking industry. This is accomplished through a residential and training facility called “The Garden”, a place of emergency and long-term housing for women in vulnerable situations where their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met. Vocational training, such as baking and sewing classes, is provided in order that women might gain valuable skills, leading to self sufficiency. Most importantly the women are offered hope through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Wellspring is partnering with Just Food to provide one year’s rent as well as the cost of maintenance and utilities for “The Garden” where thirty women will be given a fresh beginning.
